New Delhi    -    Former President of India and Bharat Ratna himself Today is the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. On this occasion, the entire country is remembering Kalam today. APJAbdulKalam has been in the top trends since the morning on social media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also tweeted a tribute to Dr. Kalam.


Born on October 15, 1931 in a fisherman's house in Rameswaram in Tamil Nadu, Kalam died in Shillong on July 27, 2015. The entire life of Kalam was dedicated to education. Kalam, who was interested in literature, was also fond of writing poems and playing the harp.


Mashruhar and former President of India, Kalam, who had mastered the field of science, was well-known as a Missile Man, but he was well known as an engineer. His tenure as president was from 25 July 2002 to 25 July 2007. Kalam wanted to see India becoming the world's leading nation in the field of space science, and for this, he also made many achievements in his life in the name of India.

In order to complete his initial education, Kalam had to work to share the newspaper from home. Kalam had inherited the integrity and authority of his father and took the gift of God-godliness and compassion from mother.


Someone had questioned Kalam about his favorite role, and he was saying that he loves the role of the teacher. Kalam would say, 'Before dreams are real, you have to dream.' Along with this, he also had to say, 'Dream is not what you see in sleep, it is such a thing that does not let you sleep.'


Dr Kalam was awarded the honorary doctorate degree by almost 40 universities, Padmabhushan and Padma Vibhushan and the highest civilian honor of India, 'Bharat Ratna' was the inspiration for Dr. Kalam Bal and the younger generation. Dr. Kalam's whole life was devoted to education.

15 अक्तूबर, 1931 को तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम में एक मछुआरे के घर में जन्मे कलाम की मृत्यु 27 जुलाई, 2015 को शिलांग में हुई थी। कलाम की पूरी जिंदगी शिक्षा को समर्पित रही। साहित्य में रुचि रखने वाले कलाम को कविताएं लिखने और वीणा बजाने का भी शौक था।

मिसाइल मैन के नाम से मशूहर और भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति कलाम को न केवल विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में महारत हासिल थी बल्कि वो एक अभियंता के रूप में विख्यात रहे। राष्ट्रपति के रूप में उनका कार्यकाल 25 जुलाई 2002 से 25 जुलाई 2007 तक रहा। कलाम भारत को अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में दुनिया का सिरमौर राष्ट्र बनना देखना चाहते थे और इसके लिए उन्होंने अपने जीवन में कई उपलब्धियों को भारत के नाम भी किया।

अपनी आरंभिक पढ़ाई पूरी करने के लिए कलाम को घर-घर अखबार बांटने का भी काम करना पड़ा था। कलाम ने अपने पिता से ईमानदारी व आत्मानुशासन की विरासत पाई थी और माता से ईश्वर-विश्वास तथा करुणा का उपहार लिया था।

किसी ने कलाम से उनकी मनपसंद भूमिका के बारे में सवाल किया था तो उनका कहना था कि शिक्षक की भूमिका उन्हें बेहद पसंद आती है। कलाम कहते थे, 'इससे पहले कि सपने सच हों आपको सपने देखने होंगे।' इसके साथ ही उनका यह भी कहना था, 'सपने वह नहीं जो आप नींद में देखते हैं, यह तो एक ऐसी चीज है जो आपको नींद ही नहीं आने देती।'

लगभग 40 विश्वविद्यालयों द्वारा मानद डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि, पद्मभूषण और पद्मविभूषण व भारत के सर्वोच्च नागरिक सम्मान 'भारतरत्न' से सम्मानित होने वाले डॉ. कलाम बाल एवं युवा पीढ़ी के प्रेरणास्रोत थे। डॉ. कलाम की पूरी जिंदगी शिक्षा को समर्पित थी।
